Other activities/involvement and interests: Projects Coordinator for Engineers Without Borders, Scholarship Advisor for Delta Gamma Iota chapter, plus I like to do all sorts of creative things like sing, sew, knit, and endlessly improve my house (I wear the tool belt in my house), and I’m always reading something new.

Why you like serving as an officer: Because I give people what they most want from a meeting—FOOD and my title sounds like I do much more than I do.

Favorite research interest: biomass conversion systems, engineering solutions for developing countries, designed ecosystems for waste management (ie, wetlands, “Living Machines”, bioremediation, etc.)

Is the glass half full or half empty?: half empty, most of the time, but every so often I’m inspired to be optimistic

Most hated Microsoft product?: I have to choose just one? Okay, how about Internet Explorer? I’d choose any number of alternative browsers any day!
