Scholarships and Awards Available
The following Scholarships and Awards are available to students in
Technical Systems Management:
Bateman Congeniality Award - $1000
This award is given to a student in Technical Systems Management.
Student's ability for "getting along with people."
Bauling/Pershing Award - $1000
Must be a junior with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Financial need will
weigh heavily in deciding the recipient. Preference will be given
to a student who is a graduate of Hononegah Community School, Winnebago
County, Northern Illinois, State of Illinois (in order stated).
E.W. Lehman Senior Award (more than one award) Each $500 to $1000
Presented to senior students in Technical Systems Management based
on excellence of scholarship, personal qualities and professional
activity. Preference is given to students who missed out on other
recognition. Additional criteria - need (particularly for those who
work), determination, improvement since freshmen year, activities
(but not service to the student branch), scholarship (but not necessarily
high GPA), and any adversities that may have been overcome.
Ryan Tucker McGinn Memorial Award (applied directly to tuition
bill) - $700
Must be a freshman, sophomore or junior in the Technical Systems Management
program. Based on demonstrated leadership, service, scholarship, and
personal character.
G.E. Goering Award for Excellence - $700
Must be a junior in Technical Systems Management who shows outstanding
scholarship and promise of future professional leadership.
